I had a super busy weekend (anevivi was here! I got to meet mklutz, who is awesome!), and everyone is on vacation, so it's crazy busy at work as well. That's why I decided to come in 20 minutes late so I could finish Doctor Who this morning, and why I am making this post instead answering emails. Model employee, say what.

I haven't been watching SGA since 5.15, but I've been reading more fic lately and I think I've come to a place where the show doesn't make me just sad/bored/pissed off any more. Plus my weakness for leaked media is legion. So:

In other news, how in the hell is it December already? Congrats to all you Nano survivors, btw! (I tried to keep up with wrisomifu, but by the end of the month it turned more into Totally Fail At Writing Anything You Wretched Fuck. Oh well, December might be better I hope.)

Also, merlinadvent is live today! I haven't had a chance to check it out much, but it looks very adorable and awesome alredy.

Also, I did watch How I Met Your Mother. It was funnier than I remembered, though a little too sitcomy for me sometimes. I also watched a bit of the Big Bang Theory, which was okay, I like the tall one, but the laughing-at-them "They watch Battlestar Galactica! Har hAr!" jokes fell a little flat, because, um, Battlestar Galactica is awesome, hi.



Oh yeah, RL: I was totally hospitalized for a staph infection this weekend. I do not recommend it. Though if you must, try to get the room with the 83 year old senile woman with the mouth of a sailor.

Okay, so I haven't heard much talk about Life on Mars on the old flist lately, which is SAD, because Season 2 has been pretty damn solid. But I'm especially sad that no one's talked about 2x07, as it was one of the best episodes they've done yet.

Nothing spoilery here, as I didn't get to see this one until late, and everyone has already squeed pretty much everything I would squee about. Can I just say, though, that if it were possible for Martin Gero to HI WRITE EVERY EPISODE OF SGA NOW AND FOREVER I would laterally explore literally explode with GLEE.

On the schedule for today: laundry and packing, so I can go back to school tomorrow, which I am vastly looking forward to as I will have a place all to myself with no people for the first time in what feels like forever. (I'm an introvert suffering from people-overexposure, sorry kids.) I'm looking forward to getting some space to recharge and fully deal with the fact that I actually really, really hate my epilepsy meds. I'm going to get there, I will, it's just hard to do when I've been in a horrible mood for the last week (actually, more like 2 weeks) because I can't get any alone time.

Also, I've been working on my DVD commentary for trinityofone's Idol, which is coming along well, though I'm pretty sure I'm overthinking it liek woah. Also, I think it's about time to admit defeat on my reel_sga fic, because I apparently do not have it in me to turn Rodney into Doris Day. We'll see. I'll try going back to it later, maybe. Also, have been yet again toying with my definitive P/O post-OoTP fic. Oh man. One of these days I need to get that fic monkey off my back.
