I'm sure most of my fandom friends are familiar with the crack_van. I stumbled on the crack_van shortly after its inception; it was instrumental in bringing me out of my Harry Potter/FF.net phase (I know!) and into my lj period.

Anyway, I still check up on it occasionally, and it looks like there's a lot of new fandoms making the rounds in December. People are doing Idolslash (which, um, only astolat can make me read), and Chuck and Primeval and whatnot.

I'm the most excited about allyndra (a Chad/Ryan shipper!) reccing High School Musical and goddessdster reccing Hot Fuzz! I've never gotten super fannish about either, but I figure I should start squirreling away my fandom acorns for the post-Merlin 1.13 winter that's coming.

Anyway, it's definitely worth a look if you're bored. :)

Also, meeting linaerys for dinner tonight! We're going to Velselka, which should be fun. Pierogies and Merlin-squee, mmm.
